Groworx International Filipino Careforce

Australia’s most-chosen international care workforce programme is built for aged care providers. Now launched in Warrnambool, Casterton, Colac, Hamilton, Port Fairy and Portland, and the towns around them.

Build a care team that stays, with nothing paid upfront.

We match you with qualified career carers who already hold an Australian-issued Certificate III in Ageing and Disability, earned at our campus in Manila, so they arrive ready to work in your service and stay to build a life in your town.

There is no obligation to go ahead, and it costs nothing to talk with us.

The ABC's 7.30 programme looked at the staffing pressure Gilgandra faced, what agency staff were costing the town, and the lives of the Filipino aged care workers who have since joined the community.

Choose the pressure you most want to change

Open any question to see how a permanent team can strengthen your service, your finances and the community around you.

When staffing keeps beds closed, your overheads keep running anyway. A stable care team can help you bring that capacity back into use and spread those fixed costs across more occupied beds.

Talk about reopening beds

Agency premiums are only part of the cost. Repeated advertising, hiring, induction and manager time all come out of the same budget, and a settled team can reduce that spending that keeps coming back.

You build your workforce in stages that we agree with you, with arrivals timed to fit your readiness. More reliable staffing then helps you plan your beds, your services and your future growth.

Familiar carers give residents and clients more continuity. Fewer unfilled shifts and fewer repeated inductions also give your existing staff and managers more room to focus on care.

When carers bring their families and settle together, their connection to your region grows. Partners can contribute through local work, and housing, schools and everyday friendships help the whole family become part of the community.

Family arrangements depend on individual visa circumstances. Please see footnote 1 at the bottom of the page.

Talk about settlement support

Reliable care capacity protects access to local services and helps sustain the jobs that already exist. As carers and their families settle, their everyday spending can support local businesses, and a more stable service can plan future investment with more confidence.

Why Filipino career carers

See how your carers are prepared before they arrive

We match Filipino care workers and Nurses who want a long-term regional career with providers who need them. Then we turn that ambition into a structured pathway, with training in Manila and support into your workplace.

They earn an Australian qualification before they leave

Each carer earns an Australian-issued Certificate III in Ageing and Disability at our campus in Manila, over four months of training with our Australian training partners, including English and practical work.

They learn your way of caring

We add preparation that is specific to your service, so their learning connects to your residents, your routines and your workplace. Your own induction and supervision continue after they arrive.

They come to build a life in your town

Your carers can build long-term regional careers, bring their families and put down roots in your community.1

You can choose care workers, Nurses or both. Care workers are prepared for their care role and scope of practice. Registered Nurses follow their own registration pathway, and they come at essentially the same price and on the same timeline as care workers.

One programme, less for you to coordinate

Follow five steps from your first conversation to a settled team

You can start with a small team and grow it in planned stages. Your carers already hold their Certificate III before you meet them, so we match them to your roles and plan their arrival around your needs. Most carers are deployed within 90 days of you joining the programme.

  1. 01

    Plan your team

You tell us your roles, location and priorities, and we check eligibility, costs and readiness with you.

  2. 02

    Meet your matches

We match you with qualified career carers from the Philippines. You make every final hiring decision.

  3. 03

    Prepare them for your service

We add preparation for your workplace on top of their Certificate III, so they arrive ready for the job.

  4. 04

    Coordinate the arrival

Because your carers are already trained, the main step is the visa. We manage it together with you.

  5. 05

    Help them settle

We support settlement and help you arrange accommodation, and you welcome your new employees.
